1. Jesus (pbuh) is mentioned 25 times in the Holy Qur’an and one chapter of the Qur’an is named after Mary (pbuh), the mother of Jesus. In contrast, Prophet Muhammed’s (pbuh) name appears only 5 times in the Qur’an and not a single chapter is named after his own mother, father, child or wife. And you still think Muhammed (pbuh) wrote the Qur’an, dear reader? 2. In the Holy Qur’an, Jesus (pbuh) is described as a great Prophet of God who worked amazing miracles by God’s permission. A Muslim who rejects Jesus (pbuh) is no longer a Muslim & has left the fold of Islam. 3. Most Christians are blind followers of the Church and therefore reject the Quran without even having read it. 4. Muslims believe in the Qur’an as well as the Bible. The Bible has, however, been changed by man and this fact is admitted by many Christian scholars themselves. As an example, the respected reader is asked to compare the two contradictory genealogies (ancestral trees) of Jesus (pbuh) as given in Luke 3:23 and Matthew 1:6. 5. Islam teaches that the acceptance of the Last Prophet of God, Muhammed (pbuh) and the Final Revelation of God, the Holy Qur’an, is now essential for admission into Heaven.

O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honourable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has At-Taqwa [i.e. one of the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.

Quote from the Holy Qur'an: Al-Hujuraat (49:13)

HOLY OR NOT ? by Naushad Adam

If there are conflicting verses in the 'Holy Scripture' that can never be reconciled, as some would boldly claim, can it still be 'Holy' ?

A challenge is presented to anyone to reconcile these differences, explain why God would allow such discrepencies in His 'Holy Book' and also explain how the same 'Holy Ghost' told different versions to different people ?

II Samuel 8:4 "And David took from him a thousand chariots and seven hundred horsemen and twenty thousand footmen ..."
I Chronicles 18:4 "And David took from him a thousand chariots and seven thousand horsemen and twenty thousand footmen..."
Q. Seven hundred or seven thousand?

A common misconception about the Holy Qur’an is that it is an ancient, outdated book, irrelevant to the functioning of the modern world. Nothing can be further from the truth! Unlike the Bible, the Holy Qur’an has never been revised for over 1400 years, since it was revealed, and its teachings are still completely relevant. Many scientific facts, when discovered, are shown to have been attested to all along in the Qur’an – pointing clearly to the inescapable reality that it could only have been authored by the Almighty Creator of the universe.
